Starting the WPCredits project marks an exciting step in my journey as a Systems Engineering student. Throughout this project, I will contribute to the WordPress ecosystem while developing practical skills and gaining experience in an open-source community.

For my contribution area, I chose the WordPress Photo Directory. Photography has always interested me because it combines creativity with attention to detail. This project gives me the opportunity to contribute original photographs that can be freely used by people around the world while learning about WordPress contribution guidelines and quality standards.
